Audience Editor

Are you passionate about growing digital audiences and making great journalism reach the right people at the right time?

The Audience Editor will be a central part of the Irish Farmers Journal’s digital transformation and is central to ensuring our content is delivered to the right audience on the right platform and at the right time. The Audience Editor will work closely with the Editorial and Production teams to optimise Irish Farmers Journal content and distribute it through newsletters, websites and social media channels while also looking for potential new audience/audience segments to help the Irish Famers Journal reach its ambitious growth targets.

Candidate requirements:

• Five years+ experience in a similar Audience role

• Experience of digital publishing distribution, including content management systems and analytics dashboards.

• Journalism qualification

• Three years+ experience working in agricultural or news media with a local/national title

• Strong understanding of SEO, Google Discover, Google’s Top Stories and analytics tools
