Head of Marketing

We are recruiting a Head of Marketing to join our growing marketing and circulation team.
This is an exciting senior opportunity for an experienced professional to join our leading stable of publications which include the Irish Farmers Journal, Irish Country Living, The Irish Field, Irish Country Magazine and The Irish Garden.

As Head of Marketing, you will drive the planning, development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives for our product portfolio across all publications, digital products, audio and events. Your role will be focused on understanding audience behaviours, segmenting and targeting our existing and potential audience based on data and market insights. 

Candidate requirements:
•    Third Level qualification, preferably in agriculture, marketing or business.
•    5 years + experience in a senior marketing management role.
•    People management experience including training & development, performance management and recruitment.
•    Experience in and knowledge of the agricultural sector essential. 
•    Ability to empathise with requirements of rural dwellers.  
•    Customer centric and experience in key stakeholder management.
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•    Ability to work to strict deadlines.  
•    Self-motivated, drive to succeed, results focused.
•    Ability to work on own initiative.
•    Experience in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook.  Digital and social media proficiency.
•    Full clean driving license
